AHS 1,698 #1 Posted July 26 i was messing around with headlights and left the key on for 6 hours. Oops!! What a bone head!! So, the lights would work. I turned it to start and nothing. I took out the key switch, expecting to find a 6 prong and i only find 5!! wait… a Magnum and a 5 prong key switch?? now, the 5 prong looks old, likes It’s been in the tractor for quite a while AND it runs excellent! Now, the 5 prong looks like the lower right hand prong looks like it runs the key switch…but the continuity meter says otherwise! I don’t know what to do? Just replace it w/ a 100990 or… reaplace it with a 100991 6 prong and run a ground wire? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

All 300 and 400 models that were equipped with Kohler Magnum engines from 1987 to 1991 used the 103991-ignition switch and from 1992 to 1997 they all used the 116338-ignition switch.
