There was a "local" channel out of Boston that aired their "Creature Double Feature" program on Saturday afternoon. Two super cheesy movies, usually of Japanese origin with the not-so-properly timed English translation. And don't forget the low-budget, no-budget "special" effects. They were special all right!! A couple of years later they switched the theme to Kung Fu Katate movies - just as hokey....
rmaynard 17,422 #4 Posted yesterday at 02:52 PM I miss those old science fiction movies. I remember one that had a rocket re-landing back on its launch pad. I said ' that'll never happen'. Hmm, and then along came Elon. 3
8ntruck 9,048 #5 Posted 20 hours ago Yup. I like watching the old cheesy movies on Tubi. Been a while since I've watched Plan 9. Last night was 'Dawn of the Mummy'. 1981, I think. Featured was a fashion model photo shoot in a just found toumb, the Mummy coming back to life, courtesy of a curse along with his zombie army. A couple of Jeep CJ 6 were used throughout the movie - they survived.
Thegearhead0324 1,718 #6 Posted 19 hours ago Yes, tubi has some of the best old movies and shows that I enjoy. Last movie I watched the other night was “Earth vs the flying saucers.” Why pay for bad new tv when you can watch the good old hits for free . 1
