ri702bill 12,338 #2 Posted 9 hours ago ... but yet it was not until the 1960's that they were widely sold to the public. I recall the first TV show I saw in color in 1963 - Bonanza. Chevrolet was their sponsor & there was a 10 minute or so ad for the then new 1964 lineup. The Chevelle was introduced that year. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
