Tomk 4 #28 Posted 22 hours ago Well it worked. The stamping is the exact same thing. I didn't have to drill one hole. I did have to cut off the height adjustment and I still have one tab on the front. I'm going to cut off when I blow apart the paint.
Tomk 4 #29 Posted 22 hours ago I could still use some help. I've used the new spindles from the New Old stock mower deck. I want to set up a stacked center pulley like the original wheel horse. So from my understanding this Deck stamping is off of a 1990 600 series Toro zero turn 42-in rear discharge. I need a stacked pulley for the center anybody got any ideas? Otherwise I will figure it out. But happily everything else worked.
peter lena 9,938 #30 Posted 9 hours ago @Tomk regularly , VERIFY AS i GO , in a failure area , just don,t think that a new part is the answer , usually there is a related issue , example , pto cone needle bearing , usually dried ,cracked , used to be lube , initial rotational drag start , all of my pto cones spin very easily , BY HAND ,very light application of lucas green . 550 deg flash point , polyurea rated , stays with it, there is a napa sealed bearing for the outer cone end , just those 2 areas , insure magical movement ease . my set up , EVERY STAGE OF INTENDED MOVEMENT , MOVES WITH TOTAL EASE . DARE TO TRY SOMETHING .,PETE
