Been looking thru the forums for a belt size for my 76' B-80 8spd and I can't find one. I know I'm missing it. Whats the size?

Transmission drive belt 78-7100 replaced by 7473 - HB x 81.9" or 5/8" x 81.9"

You will find it here. Click on the fuzzy part

If you get it from Tractor Supply you need to check both the sleeve and belt.  Some people take them out and put them back in the wronge sleeve.

This applies to everything you buy - the days of reaching in a bin - pulling it off the rack or grabbing a handful is over - it drives me totally nuts

The plumbing section in a big box is the worst. No one maintains the stock anymore. :ranting:

WHX??

It's not about checking stock ... its about guys like Squonky throwing 5/16 nuts in the 1/4 bin. :ychain:

It is particularly frustrating when you buy six or eight of a piece of hardware you need.  Get home and open the bag and see that one of the items is not the right size!

Not sure who to blame for this !

But good intentions does not always succeed.    Luckily in my case Hardware and TSC are within hand a mile!

Ain't that the God's awful truth! it only happens once ... twice if yer in a hurry and don't check every single one!
