dodge78 100 #1 Posted 3 hours ago I am cleaning up the pine tree row as the hackberry and some mulberry trees are not letting the pine trees get any sun. There is an oak tree in the line that I am not sure should stay. I am thinking it will probably grow out in one direction and fall over. What are your thoughts? Sparky-(Admin) 25,524 #2 Posted 3 hours ago I personally don’t like any tall trees that are within striking distance of my house. So I would be taking it down. Oak=good firewood
ri702bill 12,224 #3 Posted 3 hours ago It's nice to shade the propane tank, but tree limbs rubbing on siding and roof shingles are both no-nos. Not to mention the express lane for rodents and insects..... cut them back. I agree with Sparky - you Homeowners Insurance will too.
dodge78 100 #4 Posted 3 hours ago The hackberry is gone. It is too weak of a tree to be near a house. The oak is about 20-25 ft away from the house.
SylvanLakeWH 31,519 #6 Posted 2 hours ago I'd remove it and go with the solid spruce row.
