wfopete 22 #26 Posted 4 hours ago (edited) I decided to start out with a new AGM battery for a base. I went with the "Too much is just right" line of thought and dropped in a car battery. I donated the old battery to my Lowe's rider. The plastic tray under the battery just touches the hyro control linkage rod. I had some nice battery clamps laying around from another project and they worked perfect with the D's battery cable terminal ends. After running for an hour a full throttle it showed 14.5+ volts. I still have a bunch of stuff to check out on the electrical side and now the Onan seems to have developed a lean condition as it only likes to run with the choke on. Fuel pump, filter, intake, carb all need a look. I don't know much about these Onan's. I took a service school on them many years ago but I've slept since then.
