Chris689 264 #1 Posted 7 hours ago So while I was mowing my lawn yesterday my C120 was running great. Until I stopped to move a soccer ball. Turned the mower off, idled it down, hopped off and moved the ball, got back on and throttled up and it does. It struggled to start but started none the less and I continued on thinking that was weird. 20 minutes later the warden calls. Stop the mower, idle down and answer the phone. Finish the call and throttle up and it dies again but this time won’t start. Checked spark, not the problem, pulled the fuel line put my thumb over it and cranked, felt the pump working, removed my thumb and it started pushing fuel. Reconnected and continued on. has anyone had a similar issue? It never stalled while running just when going from idle to full throttle after being at full throttle for a bit. ri702bill 12,075 #3 Posted 6 hours ago Dad's 702 was a 4 season worker for him. It does not smoke, but will oil / carbon buildup foul the spark plug. It will run , then poorly until you shut it down. Then the spark grounds out to the plug shell thru thru the buildup. Pull the plug, clean it & reinstall - almost good as new. Note that using an inline zenon bulb tester WILL show that it has spark - it just does not bridge the plug gap... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
