Handy Don 16,738 #1 Posted May 15 (edited) I’ve seen this stool in several posted pictures. I have one, as well, Craftsman branded. So now I’m curious...who all has one of these? Edited May 15 by Handy Don 2

My_horse 120 #5 Posted May 15 Mines the same but from HF. Got it last year after breaking my ankle. Couldn’t kneel down anymore like I used to. I like it.
ebinmaine 79,094 #6 Posted May 15 We have 3 shop stools. As noted in another recent thread I want to keep my physical health and flexibility. Having the right tools for the job - any job - is paramount. We don't yet have a raised work table. Someday... What we do have is the ability to raise the tractor enough to reach wherever is needed... and good heavy duty shop stools. My size is a little "not smaller" than most. Hence the need for HD sitting spaces.
squonk 46,798 #7 Posted May 15 (edited) That stool is sold by about 200 different companies. Probably made by the same lady in Chang ho. I have that stool. I also have a doctor's stool pilfered when he was washing his hands and a parts counter stool I got at a flea market Pro tip: Replace the casters with slightly larger ones with studs long enough to use a lock nut. Same with the creepers. Those acorn nuts loosen and the casters will fall off with you on it! Edited May 15 by squonk 6

It is also an absolute kid magnet and I’ve had to remove it from the shop at times to stop disputes over who gets to use it. 🤷♂️ 2
JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,573 #10 Posted May 16 I had one. But gave it away when we moved.
JoeM 10,020 #11 Posted May 16 (edited) Had one lasted a couple years. I am pretty hard on them rolling through grinding dust and a slightly rough floor. I ended up building one with square tube and steel casters and a tractor seat. Edited May 16 by JoeM
Kenneth R Cluley 679 #12 Posted May 16 (edited) I've got a "Doctor" rolling stool also. Very handy for some jobs. Also utilize a "kneeling pad" which is a padded backrest from an old golf cart. Edited May 16 by Kenneth R Cluley
