My_horse 109 #1 Posted 2 hours ago Had the 314-8 out and put the mower on to mow the rough areas of the yard. Decided to change the trans oil while it’s good and warm. Probably better than 15 years since it was done last. This is what came out: shift boot is good, tractor is stored in a shed. Should I flush it with diesel or just refill with new oil? thanks

My_horse 109 #4 Posted 1 hour ago Just filled it with diesel and ran it around in all gears for 5 minutes. drained it out. going to let it sit for an hour with the front jacked up. Gotta see what I’ve got for oil. Should I fill with oil and be done with it, or run it a while, drain it and fill again? thanks again.
ebinmaine 78,576 #5 Posted 1 hour ago You could go either way on that one. If it was me I probably would do another diesel flush.
