Who owns a tug?

Recommended Posts

Sparky

  My flight outa Guam headed to Hawaii this morning didn’t go well and we had to do a u-turn out over the ocean for an electrical burning smell. Stuck in the Guam airport now for awhile (maybe another whole day :handgestures-thumbdown:)

  Looking out the window of the United Airlines lounge and I’m staring at this airport tug and thinking how cool would it be to own one of these.
  Who’s got one?? Imagine it shot red with linen beige wheels B)

  @wallfish…and it’s got TWO seats !!

You’ve already got the Roof which is the perfect basis for one of those--just fab up the body!

The Roof was sold to Ben last fall at the Zag show. Now I need to depend on @Sparky so I'm expecting to be disappointed. LOL

That is until the new to me truck project gets moving.

I wonder if one could fab up a suitable hitch on one for a plow and take it to a plow day?

Years ago a guy I worked with had one. It came with a Ford inline 6 industrial engine. He had no muffler on it and he plowed his driveway  and woke up his neighbors with it.

Mike,   :angry-tappingfoot:   you had the prefect foundation to create a tug from about a year and a half ago and got rid of it.    :teasing-poke:        That C-185 ELEC-TRAK with two seats would be the same look and it would be a :wh:.

I suspected those things would be heavy, but wow.  Looked up their weights:  3750lbs to 7500lbs for the series Mike pictured.

i guess they need that weight to generate sufficient traction to handle a chain of baggage cars and whatnot.

Mike, here is a bit more inspiration for you.       Get5 started now and you could be driving it around the BIG SHOW.
