If it means having to sell a few parts to make up the extra few bucks in fuel so be it. Have to try to keep the torch going , and if guys back out because of fuel unfortunately there will eventually be no show . After a new flock of laying hens had been raised the price came back down, I paid $ 1.50 for a dozen the other day. The same is true for fuel prices, a disruption in the world wide supply chain changes prices. The Arab Oil Embargo of 1973 was a result of the USA support of Israel during the Yom Kippur War. and relative to inflation our gas prices reached today's $ 4.00+. The prices went even higher during the 1979 Arab Oil Embargo which was the result of the Iranian Revaluation. The 2008 financial crisis brought us actual prices above $ 4.00 a gallon for Gas. The Russia - Ukraine war brought us national average prices of $ 5.00+ (includes Hawaii and California prices) in 2022. None of these were long lasting and we survived them all.
