My trans has lost high gear. Anyone willing to swap my core for a rebuilt plus cash?

Jon - it sounds like the Hi-Lo shift lever inside is broken - a fairly common issue. If taken apart, the shift fork can be welded and actually made to be better than new.

Ask if the swap-out trans has had that fix already done. If not, why not go thru fixing your own Unidrive??

"Replacement parts are only as good as the parts they replace" - learned that 50 years ago during my teens wrenching on a local short track Stock Car.

Might be but I have had the hi lo gear get crunched.

Never did finger out why.

The Hi lo shift forks Bill speaks of. One of the fingers have been known to wear and break off.

:text-yeahthat:Plenty of how to vids and help here on doing it.

Finding parts isn't too much of a pain since the parts have remained fairly consistent throughout the years.

I see you have an ad in wanted and I mentioned some of the MN boys that might be able to help.
