I just won 2 wheelhorse 312s on a local online auction.... why did I do that?

A WH 312-A and an 312 Hydro. I'll pick them up tomorrow. One runs, one doesn't. The hydro has a plow.

I hope there are some manuals here for those.

Still not sure why I did that.

There are 3 models of each so post the model numbers and serial numbers when you get them. If not possible the engine spec number and engine serial number will help with identifiation.

One of the best, most simple, and most rugged workers there.

Oh the non running one is a 314-A, made a mistake there. Dunno if it runs but it has a good seat and 4 shiny chrome hubcaps... surely that was worth my 40 bucks.

Oh here is a question... the 312 is suppose to be running, the 314 is not. I'll assume neither will run when its time to put em on the trailer...

If one is an auto and one us a hydro, how do you free wheel them to push em?

The one with the Eaton 1100 can be pushed with no problem, The Eaton 700 well need to have the rear wheels put on a pair of dollies.

Mmm. aint got a dolly. maybe it'll rain tonight and it'll slide in the mud when I drag it on the trailer. That sucks.

If you give it a shove in a manner that you can spin a wheel backwards, it’ll scoot right along.  Put your hip into it so that backwards spinning wheel is lighter than the forward spinning wheel.

Am I missing something. Both the A and the 1100 are both automatics correct. My Eaton 1100's don 't push very far at all. That's what your WH Classic should be equipped with. The A has the Eaton 700.

They don't look the worst Junkie ...  the 314-A looks like it's got dash issues.

What about a hand truck and a helper? You could probably lift the rear end up with a decent hand truck and doesn't need to be 2 ft in the air.

What about removing the blade from the frame and using that frame end to lift and move it?

Bring a battery and some carb spray and run it like that

Spit balling again to what sticks

What's the possibility of using a long mower belt from the PTO of the runner connected to the trans pulley from behind? If the front one is kinda dragging the runner slightly the belt should stay tight.
