midpack 1,125 #1 Posted 8 hours ago If anyone is interested in learning about a really complicated surgery involving replaccing an Aortic arch completely with a Dacron unit. Look that one up its called Frozen ElephantsTrunk repair, its pretty wild. I got this done as a re-do from an aortic root dilation repair from about 3 years ago. Spent a week in Maine Med in Portland. The Malone tower has really great staff and Dr Rosu was great. Now it's time for some rehab, again... 2 1
JCM 11,049 #2 Posted 5 hours ago At least you went to the right Hospital. Spent a lot of time in there myself. If not there Boston is the best. Good Luck
953 nut 64,973 #3 Posted 5 hours ago Glad you were able to have your needs met by great doctors at the best facility. I pray that your rehab will go well and you can return to normal activity soon. Any hospitalization that you can walk away from is a good one. Between January 25 and February 16 I qualified for frequent flyer status with our county's ambulance service and was admitted to the hospital three separate times but am doing great now. 1
