In case you wondered, they react explosively, spraying burning fuel like bomb shrapnel in all directions. I dropped the needle walking through the shop, can't find it, put a spare carb on and it is working, but this carb has it's own set of issues. Guess I need to find a good rebuild kit. ohiofarmer 3,389 #31 Posted April 18 Answer and then a question.... A really easy way to judge whether or not a float is leaking or getting gas inside is this . Just get a container of warm water and hold the float under the surface. Bubbles =problem. I have fixed them with tank liner after heating them up in a metal bowl or whatever method you choose to heat and expel or burn the gas. Then put tank liner on them. Taryl and others have suggested that Hipa has some good carburetors that are decent quality. Do they make one for the K series for my c-160 ???? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
