0rnery 16 #1 Posted yesterday at 03:55 PM No doubt you all keep your prized tractors garaged, but I've run out of garage space. Where can I get a quality, custom cover worthy of my hard working 314-8 tractor with 42" deck? Of course there are plenty of general purpose covers available on Amazon, but thought I better check here first, so I don't miss out on a better option. Thanks Much, John
rick 278 #2 Posted yesterday at 04:04 PM You might go to coverstore.com and take a look at their products. I have a cover for my Karubecue C-60. I have had it for years and still protects the smoker. 1
0rnery 16 #3 Posted yesterday at 04:24 PM (edited) Thanks for the ultra prompt reply, Rick. Great site, which I'll keep in my back pocket. Unfortunately, all their mower covers seem to be for Zero Turns. Funny thing is, I already have one that is twice as big as the 314-8 and says, Toro on the front. Last year I ordered a "Toro Wheel Horse Removable Receiver Hitch (with mounting hardware)" from wheelhorsepartsandmore . It worked beautifully and I was just hoping somebody was also making Wheel Horse covers of that same quality. Edit: Hold on. Bing got me to a link on their site: https://www.coverstore.com/products/outdoor-tractor-cover-elite-black?variant=51736129077615 I'll keep poking around and see what we can do. Thanks again! rmaynard 17,037 #4 Posted yesterday at 04:49 PM (edited) I picked one up at the WHCC show last summer for $50. It hasn't ripped yet, but it is no longer red. In less than 8 months it has faded where the sun hits it. Picture below shows original color and faded area. 0rnery 16 #5 Posted yesterday at 05:18 PM Woah Bob, that's what I had in mind. I now have a Classic Accessories "82"L x 50"W x 47"H cover in my Amazon cart for $70 and the Outdoor Tractor Cover Elite Black in my Cover Store basket for $96 shipped. I've heard they all fade if directly in the sun, so I'm looking for a shady spot to park it. Any idea who might sell the one you have?
oliver2-44 11,356 #6 Posted yesterday at 05:51 PM I buy large BBQ/Grill covers from Lowes & Homme Depot at the end of the season when they have them on clearance.
0rnery 16 #7 Posted yesterday at 06:14 PM Awesome Jim. I'd be happy to modify the Zero Turn cover it's using now, but that's a little too much work. Not happy about having to cough up close to $100, but I'd hate to try and go into seamstress mode even more!

Works for welders also. Bought one for a welder off of the jungle site for like 12 bucks and was pleasantly surprised at how heavy/thick it was but it doesnt spend anytime in the sun and I'm sure it would probably fade also.
