barry.n.bunch@gmail.com 4 #1 Posted 14 hours ago Hello , I am trying to identify a tractor we inherited. We do not know anything about it yet , I have pictures attached (I hope !) I have 14 pictures total. , I will just post 3 now, one upload failed and I don't know how to remove it , no trash can or X . Can send more if asked. Serial # 62-5270. There might be another tag behind the Hydraulic pump ? Thanks , Barry 3
ri702bill 11,615 #2 Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Welcome! That appears to be a 1962 702 model, and mostly original. It has the desirable HY-2 hydraulic lift setup that was an option that year. & 7 HP Kohler and a "4 speed" (3 forward, 1 reverse) Unidrive. The throttle, ammeter, and steering wheel are not original, the starter / generator belt guard is missing?? Once you get it running, you need to install the drive belt guard to allow proper clutch / shifting action. Plenty of parts are still available. Do download the manual for it... Achto 31,413 #3 Posted 6 hours ago Flat tie rod with a drag link. I also believe that it is a 702.

953 nut 64,815 #8 Posted 5 hours ago The round hoods like your 702 are very desirable and having the HY-2 makes it even better. Please tell us a bit more about your inheritance and your memories of it from years past. Noticed you have a miniature hit and miss engine too, is that your passion?

No there shouldn't be.Your serial number is in the registry so it's either been seen here before or @gwest_ca (our files moderator) has just added it. 51 minutes ago, 953 nut said: Noticed you have a miniature hit and miss engine too, 17 minutes ago, rmaynard said: nice collection of cast iron dutch ovens as well.
