gwest_ca-(File Mod) 12,088 #2 Posted 13 hours ago Welcome to Red Square The preferred transmission filter for all models is a Wix 51410 or Napa 1410 because it does not have a by-pass valve 2 2

RBM 6 #6 Posted 4 hours ago Thank you for the help! This is the story of how I received my Wheel Horse...My grandfather bought it in the early 80s it was used but in good shape...He used it for about 35 years then he gave it to my Dad. My Dad used it to mow the grass for about 5 years then it sat in storage Until I decided to work on it with my grandfather. My grandfather and I got it running and have kept it running for 8 years and I plan to keep it running. 4
pfrederi 20,091 #7 Posted 2 hours ago Then fluid in your hydro should be 10w-30 motor oil. Will look tan when you wipe the dipstick on a paper towel...This was a transition period the fluid may be ATF that would look pink. Do not mix use what ever is in there to refill your hydro. 1

RBM 6 #9 Posted 1 hour ago The fluid was never replaced even when my grandfather owned it...so I replaced it with the equivalent to the original ATF. It was ATF so I put ATF in it. The old ATF was dirty and smelled burnt. So i'm happy I replaced it lol...Once I get the new filter I will replace it again to get any other crap out of it...I want to thank everyone that helped me! Thank You very much!!
