rmaynard 16,996 #1 Posted 4 hours ago Grandson Mason is working on a Raider 12. The engine needs quite a bit of work. I gave him a non Wheel Horse K301 that has less than 100 hours on it. The only problem is that the crankshaft end is 1" diameter, but his drive pulley from the Raider engine has a 1-1/8" inside diameter. Has anyone ever sleeved the shaft to make that work? JoeM 9,688 #2 Posted 4 hours ago Yes. Sleeved a predator to use on a WH with parts from ebay. No issues.
SylvanLakeWH 30,812 #3 Posted 4 hours ago Yes... Something like this... I'd compare pulley cost to shaft sleeve cost...
JoeM 9,688 #4 Posted 4 hours ago Bob, I have a 1 inch WH engine pulley for a gear drive. I can send it to you. Might cost you a sandwich at the show. Let me know. JoeM

Racinbob 12,860 #7 Posted 2 hours ago Yes. I sleeved the entire shaft on my reborn B-80. I had the pulley and pto bearing race for the 1.125" shaft so I found a sleeve that covered the entire shaft. I may have trimmed it to fit. The sleeve required the key to be 1/4" x 5/16" and a full length key was provided.
