Never seen that before.  From the looks of those welds I'd say it original.

This was a "guess vintage" tractor. Decal gone. Likely 1994??

It had the controls on the column, so I'd say that's about right.

Wheel Horse had thoes reinforcing plates for saie; It might be one of thoes. What does the other side look like

Just checked some WH brochures for a 91, 92, 94 & 95 all have that same plate from the factory I assume the 93 as well on the 520. @ebinmaine

the 'F' plate area should have been made stronger from the get go.  i'm surprised it took wheelhorse all those years to offer a way to beef up that area.

Same here on my 90 and 91 520H's.
