Yesterday it was 82 degrees here with bright sunshine. Today it's 35 and snow flurries. :confusion-confused:

What's so crazy about that?  I grew up in Michigan, where stuff like that was normal March weather.

Isn’t it said of Michigan that you can experience all four seasons in one day? :hide:

The problem is when the cold front moves through. Tuesday was warm and extremely humid. Then the front moved through. They said it was a super cell, 300 yards wide and it stayed on the ground all the way from the state line. We were tracking it as we huddled in the basement. It was going just to our south until it was about 5 miles west then it shifted just to the north. Fortunately there was mostly open fields and woods in it's path and the shift north was enough that it just ticked us. The neighbors to our north.

I was thinking about you guys Bob.  Glad to see you are OK !!  It went well south of us and we were more woried about the large hail.  We did not get anything but the rain and wind.  We haven't even had snow since I bought a new TORO snow blower before Christmas.  :occasion-snowman:  :occasion-xmas:

It was close Steve but we were lucky. When it started shifting north we were the bullseye for a period I have to admit I was scared. I felt helpless. It was only about 2 miles out then. But it kept angling north. Even the neighbors felt lucky and said it was just a few scratches on the roof. They knew what it could have been.

I'm thinking you might want to get a second blower as a backup. You can't be too well prepared 😀

We went from 70 and sunny last Tuesday to 40 and rain yesterday. A 30 degree drop in a day. Tomorrow we’re expecting around 6 inches of snow. The bipolar weather is crazy.

74 ish yesterday. 35 today. Weather is crazy enough but when it effects your work it's a double whammy. I walked into a hornet's nest when I went in on Tuesday for my  normal Tues/Wed. "work week" We lost control of 2 of our large air handlers on Monday. Weather was warm and with empty chillers everyone was hot. So the guys disconnected everything to get as much outside air in in the AM. Problem was it's over 70 in the afternoon. I got half of everything working but had to override programs to get things reasonable. Control service co. was supposed to come yesterday but they overbooked and didn't show. Now with the cold weather coming I had to deal with what was gonna happen when the front came through. For some reason fronts come through at night so I guessed at what to set stuff at by hand and left it for the guys to deal with today.

Yeah ditto,  87 degrees yesterday.  Projected 30 degrees overnight.  All things outside already covered in pine pollen.  Weird. Temps in the twenties forecast ed.  Worse is this is the

second year in a row that the oaks were fooled and are leafing out.  Latent buds for protection however early leaf/flower usually only happens to illiterate soft wood or stone fruit here.  It is

a crazy time on multiple fronts.  Stay safe and warm/cool out there folks???

I wish you all up  north would close the door!--looking like it's gonna let cold air in.   It's suppose to be in the upper teen come Monday morning here in SW Missouri.   The Bradford Pears (dadgum no good tree) are blooming and my Redbud is beginning to show color.  So far the fruit trees are still closed up.

Buddy of mine in Des Moines, Iowa text  a few days ago nightcrawlers were out on his sidewalk.  I text back: Don't let them go to waste, there's a potential catfish in every one of them.
