Still have lots to do, but I am loving it, and would not have been able to do it without all of you WH Fanatics, thank you!!

Thanks bell, worth every minute of it, just dropped a battery in it and fired right up, got to get a new tube in one of the front tires and little more painting and she is going to work. I will post more pics in a day or two depending on the weather!

Thanks Duff, trying to keep it as original as I can, but with the surface rust and wanting the new decals, the old paint wasn't up for it, was going to redo the dash plate but decided not too, did get the cigar lighter and the lights to work, had to rebuild the light switch, and voila! they live! lol

The nice thing is that you've preserved the machine so that if at some point you do decide to do a full restore, you've got something solid to work with. As good as it might be to have original paint, once the surface rust starts it only gets worse. :hide:

It's JMHO, but I think you're on the right track!

Are you going to sandlblast the wheels or just wire brush them?

They are going to be sandblasted, I am waiting on my brother to bring up his sandblasting unit up here, funny thing is the previous owner I bought the house from used to do sandblasting in one end of my 40x60 garage/barn, everything is there except for the sandblaster, I lucked out. And that is what is in the works in the future, to preserve it and restore it. I have that Electro to work on and not to mention my business I am running, time is very scarce!
