Bert 787 #1 Posted Tuesday at 12:33 AM I found this one on marketplace for $150. Its mostly trash but is a solid foundation. I was able to get it running but it’s a oil burner. IMG_1219.mov 3

I should have mentioned when I shared the pics that this is going to be mostly restored and put back to work. I’ve got either a KT17 series 2 or a P220 onan that could be used. The series 1 is already out. Im also thinking of stretching a 520 gear reduction steering unit and adapting the greasable tie rods.

A good catch with some interesting future plans.

Yes sir I’ll have plenty of pics. I’ll probably start a proper restoration thread but heres three of the Onan under the hood. It can sit further forward then the KT19. 3
AHS 1,597 #11 Posted yesterday at 04:12 PM @Bert was that a 60” deck underneath that super C?? That’ll do it!!! That sucks that a 19.5hp Kohler blew smoke. It’s rare to find the a 19.5 hp kohler! A series 2 19.5 is even more rare!! It’s good that you got motor in the super C!!

I’m hoping that I can find parts to repair it. It’s too bad about the engine but it’s a good core for someone that had a catastrophic boom in theirs. I’ll likely have the long block in the classifieds in a couple months.

8ntruck 8,622 #14 Posted 5 hours ago 1 hour ago, Bert said: Series 1 engine Yup. My C 195 is also a series 1 engine that smokes but runs well even though it shows over 1000 hours on the meter. Last time I used it, it did not seem to be smoking as much. Yes, the oil was full - in fact, I run it a bit above the full line on the dip stick.
