Chav88 20 #1 Posted March 3 Hello, my Name is Dick and I recently scooped up a D160. I had actually been looking at 312-8s because they are gear drive but I recently purchased a large property with wooded land and suddenly I found my self needing a heavier machine. I camper across a D160 with the snowblower, plow, and deck. Rear 3 point hitch, running and working for $800. I had to send a kid to fetch it and when he returned I realized that I believed the deck is not the correct one and I’m in need of a mule drive. I’ve been creeping this site for a while and I figured how I need one of join. 2

rjg854 12,860 #8 Posted March 3 Dick. Glad you finally decided to join in the forum; this is a great place to find what you need; either in parts or information. I'm sure you already knew that though.
ineedanother 1,900 #9 Posted March 4 @Chav88 , that deck might not be what you need but stay hooked up on this site and get the 312-8 you were looking for because they're great machines and two is better than one, three is better than two... Sincerely, @ineedanother
953 nut 64,278 #11 Posted March 4 Here is manual for the correct deck for the D-160. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?q=d 160&quick=1&type=downloads_file&nodes=18 With a bit of creative engineering the 300/400 deck could be used if the correct one can't be located. That image in the manual doesn’t look to far off. I have all the tools to basically make anything work so that won’t be an issue but I definitely was run for get a working one to save myself time. Piecing attachments together is kind of a pain when you’re in a hurry.
