Bdja54 0 #1 Posted 6 hours ago Hello all , I have a c160 hydro with an issue with hydraulic lift not working. Tried another lift valve, lift cylinder, new hoses from valve to lift cylinder. Still doesn’t lift plow without helping it . Drives in forward and reverse with plenty of power. Anyone ever have this issue? Any thoughts? Can the implement side of transmission pump be bad , but tractor still drives with plenty of power?

pfrederi 19,857 #4 Posted 3 hours ago (edited) One of the relief valves has failed or is jammed open Can't build up pressure beyond the 50-150 psi that feeds the charge pump. You get enough pressure for the charge pump to feed slippers and piston block, they drive the tractor but that pressure is not enough to run the lift it needs 550-750 I would guess it is one of the springs for the implement valve has broken... pfrederi 19,857 #6 Posted 2 hours ago Do you have access to a pressure gauge?

Or they have been swapped from front to rear. One spring is significantly stronger than the other and won't provide enough pressure if not reinstalled correctly.

Good Point Also if you add hydro lift you have to swap the Charge and implement valves. Did this thing ever work???
