Dan 312-8 463 #1 Posted February 20 While walking the floor at the Classic Tractor Show today at the Lebanon, PA Expo Center, I spied this in a vendor’s booth. It’s advertised as a Wheel Horse Rear Tongue Weight, no ID tag on it. It’s designed to slide over the factory hitch, bolt through existing hitch pin hole and the weight provides a new hitch pin hole. Any of you out there ever see such an animal? OEM or homecrafted? Guy is asking $150 for it. I’m going back in the morning. I’d appreciate your thoughts and/or comments, Bests, Dan

IMHO that's a $50 piece. NOT 3 times that. B. It's pretty close to useless because that weight greatly reduces the amount you can pull. Meh......
Chaz54 99 #4 Posted February 20 IMHO… It looks too well made for homemade. But my guess is that it was a rear weight for an implement (non-Wheel Horse, hence the black paing) that would mount on the front of the tractor.
Dan 312-8 463 #5 Posted February 21 @SylvanLakeWH, @ebinmaine, @Chaz54, thanks for your insight. Eric, $50 was exactly what I thought. That is if you can pry that Grant out of my grasp. I’ll be leaving it lay where it’s at.
wallfish 19,407 #6 Posted February 21 Well, that block of steel on it's own would cost more than $50. That being said, I don't think it's a $150 item but probably somewhere in the middle. It would make a better front weight IMO https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html
