Easton Rich 942 #1 Posted Tuesday at 02:20 AM Im looking at a 502 with hydraulics, a front mount sickle mower, and a tub cart. What are base prices for them? Thanks
ri702bill 11,207 #2 Posted Tuesday at 09:57 AM It depends; is it used or used up?? I do not believe a front sickle was offered as a 1962 option - it is probably fron an RJ and "adapted" to work. It depends on the craftsmanship to do so... All told, as an assembled & functional package, I would take a stab at it saying it is in the $1000 range - perhaps. If it is just a mish-mash of parts from over 10 years or so, cut the price in half. My
Easton Rich 942 #3 Posted Tuesday at 01:11 PM Its used. It still has sawtooth tires and the original Techy. The hydraulics do work and it runs. The front sickle was restored not too long ago and I'd like to adapt it some way. The tub cart has no holes in it and also has the original tires

Easton Rich 942 #6 Posted Wednesday at 12:40 AM True. If any of you come to my show you'll have the same problem! There are gonna be about 10 tractors that will be for sale that I'm involved with (8 are restored!).
Chris G 3,369 #7 Posted Wednesday at 12:52 AM (edited) Sweet find! I attached a photo of a 62 sales brochure I got. And it shows the sickle bar was an option! According to the paperwork I got it was offered up until 62. The 63 brochure is where the first side mount sickle shows up. That thing would snap the wire if it was used trying to turn it when any snow was blasting out let alone trying it dry. Someone got a little bit excited adding those sections to that one! I've never seen that many sections added before this advertisement. I know the dealers make more money off of attachments but that's clearly a blatant grift of the customer right there to sell chute sections! Easton Rich 942 #10 Posted Wednesday at 01:12 PM Have any of you ever seen the three gang reel mower. That blower oughta be a sniper! Aim for the squirrels!

Easton Rich 942 #14 Posted 8 hours ago Here we are, again. I made another impulse purchase and I might have buyers remorse.... Upon unloading, I tried to start it, it yanked, but nothing. It has spark, but no fire. Also the recoil stopped contacting the flywheel. What's wrong? I feel like this is a good @Pullstart question. Also here are the attachments. What are they worth individualy? 1 1
TonyToro Jr. 2,329 #15 Posted 7 hours ago (edited) For the tub cart I would say between $150 and $200 would be my guess. As long as there is no rot. Especially on the back lip where the cart would dump on the ground. And my guess for the recoil not engaging would be it probably just needs some lube. That happens a lot especially for snow blowers. Easton Rich 942 #16 Posted 6 hours ago Ok, its super windy and cold, so I'll make another update tomorrow
evanloock 246 #17 Posted 6 hours ago That's a CBR-32 for the RJ's and mid-engine Suburbans. It is not for the 502. That would be the CBR-327 as shown in the brochure.
Easton Rich 942 #18 Posted 6 hours ago Would it look like this?

Take it a part and clean & lube might help. We sure that's a 502?? Should have electric start and not the tool box. You won't be able to get the serial number it's covered up by the HY. Get the numbers off the motor tho & anything on the belt guard? Nice lookin tractor tho ... good bones. Edited 6 hours ago by WHX??
evanloock 246 #20 Posted 6 hours ago 502 is recoil only with the tool box in the battery box. 552 is electric start and recoil.

My 502 had eletrics but a HH60 so been repoed at some point. I thought it was original as it was really nicely done. 2 hours ago, Easton Rich said: might have buyers remorse. Kinda like seeing an 80 year old with super bright white teeth. Just appears like a total fake! LOL Tone'm down a bit with a little yellow, like antique white. Linen Beige is the natural WH color.

Easton Rich 942 #24 Posted 4 hours ago Oh and more weird things happened... a D-160, a almost new 3pt tiller, a 52" blade, and a 1969 Raider 10 appeared on my trailer!
wallfish 19,174 #25 Posted 4 hours ago P 3 hours ago, Easton Rich said: Also the recoil stopped Pull the recoil off and take a look at the cup. Aluminum so the teeth get worn is a possibility too if the pawls are extending out. They can be filed. 2 minutes ago, Easton Rich said: Do any of you know a relative value for the sickle? Been a while since I had one and sold a couple. $300 ish or more but everything needs to be there. Appears like the cast skid shoes are missing and those are tough to find
