davidtmercer 79 #1 Posted 6 hours ago Was wondering if anyone had any pictures or information on 6.5-15 cleat rear tires that were offered as an option for the D-250. I have the both the 26x12-12 extra wide cleat and turf wheels/tires for the rear but am considering purchasing 6.5-15 cleat tires to match the 18 x 8.5-8 shallow ribs I have installed on the front on one of my four D-250's. Reference attached snipped screen files from both the 1976-77 and 1978-81 D-250 operator manuals
ebinmaine 77,102 #2 Posted 5 hours ago I have a set of 7.6 - 15 on the back of the Colossus project. They're nearly 30 inches tall. Be very aware that modern tires are being sold nearly across the range in sizes that vary a LOT from listed numbers. If you can find a set of 27" tall tires make sure to get the actual measurements from the seller and a guarantee of that being correct. I don't have current pictures but here's a link to an old post. Dave, All great advice from @ebinmaine, but I'd get photographic verification of this mostly mythical creation... there have been sightings in the past, but few that are not grainy and of the "big foot sightings" genre... 1
