I know there several of that same pump with different stickers. Maybe upwards of a bunch. I'd definitely prefer USA made but the main thing is that they work. I'm kinda thinking that is they go thumpy, thumpy they should be avoided. If they go whir, whir, it's a decent pump. As far as jinxing you...........let me think about it. All it takes is a single 7/16" wrench for the two mounting bolts, unplug and done. The holes on the two different pumps even line up. ineedanother 1,867 #31 Posted 4 hours ago I need to convert both of mine with fuel under the seat pan to electric but plan to stay with mechanical pumps on the ones with under-hood fuel for the time being. Got two Carbole 2-3.5 psi pumps, fuel filters and 25' of 5/16" Continental fuel line (made in the USA) delivered today. I'm going to give the K&N filters with replaceable cartridges a try, not that I've had problems with others. I fraught over that a bit since everything I see says 1/4" but the petcocks I've replaced are 5/16 as are the barbed inlets on most of my carbs unless I'm measuring them incorrectly. Most fuel pumps I see have 5/16" which I could change but would rather not. I use Oetiker clamps wherever I can and they do well to collapse the hose so I'll revert to 1/4" line if I have to but I hate to stretch undersized line onto oversized fittings. I will say that I'm optimistic with the Continental fuel line. It was a bit over $1/ft. but reviews put it far above imported options. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
