At the plant I worked in during college vacations, there were a lot of hydraulic systems operating fixed production equipment. The maintenance department had a water centrifugal water separator thing that rode on the back of one of their Coleman tool carts. It hooked it up to valved T nipples at the inlet and outlet of the reservoir and circulated the fluid while extracting any water. They’d cycle all the cylinders, too. Lastly, they’d top up for any lost volume and on to the next system...
