wheelhorsejoe 4 #1 Posted January 8 (edited) Hi I am wondering how to set the float level on a Walbro WHG with this type of float . the float seats recessed into the carb when installed? Thank you Joe PS Edited January 9 by wheelhorsejoe not enought correct info
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,998 #3 Posted January 9 Can you place a nut over the center plastic rivet and hold the float with a pair of Channel locks over the nut? It will not take much to bend the float tab but you don't want to stress the plastic rivets.

Thank you Joe What makes you think it needs setting? I have found pretty good amount of lee way on floats in these types carbs. If I don't know what to set them at I always just go for level all way round top of carb. Now dual webers on a VW bug different story

When ever I rebuild a carb I always check and adjust the float settings. I understand that there is lee-way but I try to get as close as possiable to factory settings.
