What's the model number of the C160?

You'd need to know if it was originally a Kohler engine or a Tecumseh.

103809 would be separated out a little to:

1 0380 9. Possibly with  -  in between.

Either way that codes to a 1974 C160-8 with a Kohler engine.

If you have a starter/generator in there then the engine is 1967 or older. Rare early 68s has them.

If you follow the wiring harness for a 1967 model 1067 or 1267 it should work.

Hope you have a starter solenoid and battery ignition. If you do not know we can explain.

This diagram does not have a solenoid.

What ignition switch do you have? Describe

The most effective way out of your dilemma in my opinion would be to buy a 103-990 ignition switch and a solenoid and follow the diagram below.

Hope this is what you need, let us know if you have other questions.
