ebinmaine 76,333 #2 Posted Monday at 12:59 AM What's the model number of the C160? You'd need to know if it was originally a Kohler engine or a Tecumseh.
Ryan61 0 #3 Posted Monday at 01:31 AM 1016291or 103809 these are the 2 numbers that I can read on the frame tag

Possibly with - in between. Either way that codes to a 1974 C160-8 with a Kohler engine. If you have a starter/generator in there then the engine is 1967 or older. Rare early 68s has them. If you follow the wiring harness for a 1967 model 1067 or 1267 it should work.
Bar Nuthin 2,010 #5 Posted Monday at 01:50 AM Closest I can find with your numbers is 74 C-160 8 Speed. Not sure if the wiring diagrams will help you since it obviously doesn't have the original engine. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,909 #6 Posted Monday at 02:14 AM Hope you have a starter solenoid and battery ignition. If you do not know we can explain. This diagram does not have a solenoid. What ignition switch do you have? Describe

953 nut 63,510 #8 Posted Monday at 12:54 PM (edited) The most effective way out of your dilemma in my opinion would be to buy a 103-990 ignition switch and a solenoid and follow the diagram below. Hope this is what you need, let us know if you have other questions. Edited Monday at 12:55 PM by 953 nut fat finger
