bassJAM 93 #1 Posted Sunday at 06:33 PM Had to jump my C125 the other day and to my surprise the hood fell off as soon as I unsnapped the rubber keepers. Is there supposed to be a pin or axle of sorts, and can anyone show me a picture of what I'm missing? I have to assume it broke or fell off while plowing snow back in December but I can't find anything at the edges of my driveway.

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,909 #5 Posted Sunday at 11:29 PM Use bolts long enough to have some unthreaded shank where it passes through all the metal hinges. That way time will not be wearing on the threads of the bolt making the fix short lived. Add washers to expose just the threads for the nut and cut off extra threads. If you can find plastic or nylon washers even better. Snug the nut up so the pivot is under tension - rattles likely disappear. You may have room to put a washer between the hinge halves. 1
