WHX?? 53,522 #4 Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Gotta tell ya Keith my first blower was a short chute single on a 520. Had a blast with it & thought I gotta get me a deuce. Really let her fly with one of those. So I found one for short money that was missing alot of parts but found those with the help of the guys here. DId all the mods... rubber paddle extensions, center support, ball bearings on the auger. Lotta fun stuffing it in a big drift and hearing that Onan get on the governor and the belt squealing. After a couple of years with little to no snow and no use for it. I got a 520 with a tall single and all the goodies. Electric chute, lights, cab wiper...actually did a nicer job than a big heavy deuce. This year lots of snow so out came the the old deuce ... reset up for off road use with double link v bar chains heavy duty skids & just a ton of weight. Let the good times roll ... again! Out to the wood lot and deer pasture. Don't tell The Pullstart but I actually try and get it stuck. Edited 11 hours ago by WHX??

WHX?? 53,522 #12 Posted 33 minutes ago They are solid concrete I think. I have no idea where they came from or what they weight & I ain't got the stones to take one off and weigh it. I think they came on a tractor maybe a 520 that parted out??? Have to go back and look at pics of new to tractors that would joggle my brain. Not to hard to install. Used a floor jack to get them up then just shoved in the rim and used a big chain wrench to turn them to line things up. No markings on them whatsoever. Possibly homemade?? Someone took a belled end of concrete or pvc drain pipe or some other type of mold and poured them full? Only thing I can think of. No idea what he would have used for a release agent??? If I ever gotta put them on another tractor I'll kife the old lady's bathroom scale and weigh them ... if she ain't got the scale needle ripped off ... good thing she doesn't read this ... Should swap them on the FEL but with the sand around here all she'll do is dig in.
