Thank you retired wrencher. So far, it's like the folks here are kin. Seems every issue I'm havin; someone jumps right in and bails me out. I love it. I was doubtful about buyin' the 312-8, due to not runnin'. But I'm slowly swingin' to I got a good machine.

Thanks a million. I was surfin' the net this mornin'. Some folks out there think they have a gold mine. Prices are all over the place. Good to get trusted vendors!

Hang around Redsquare. You'll find all the help you need.

I'd highly encourage you to join as a supporter too. Helps @nylyon keep the lights on, so to speak.

You'll find the generosity of the members here is excellent too.

When I look at a non runner I think in terms of parts value.

You.... well pretty much stole that.

I was about to ask what the supporter meant. As soon as Christmas bills roll in, I'll see what I can do. Money is tight. Not airin' dirty laundry but by God's grace I just kicked inop stage 3 cancers' butt. You can imagine the costs I'm sure. My wife has been diagnosed with inop stage 4 cancer & she's not doin' well. Not responding to treatments. They said 4-12 months without treatments. I got the 312-8 to get me outside and help get my head on something positive.

@CD Long Jr  recently  installed the  rubber strip tire  tracks , much better than I expected !   they emphasize  very tight  fit , went to tractor supply  ,picked up a couple of  2"  welded rings , and some curved hook  extension springs , lets you easily use a thin  flat screwdriver , to slide on springs , add that to a  graphite  sprayed  plow blade , the push and slide off  is redulious ,  btw  they also sell  3/8  extension springs  12 to 15 " long  , make your own . have also  modified my plow for function , you already have a lot to do , settle for a thorough lubrication to any and all movement spots , especially  plow swing quadrant  spring , and squeeze lever  set up .  good talkin , pete

:woohoo:

Glad to hear you got to ring the bell, my numbers have been good for a couple of years now thank GOD. So sorry to hear of you wife's condition and pray the doctors can come up with a cure.

We will do our best to help the therapy 312 have a great outcome.

Ran it twice with God's grace, had prostate cancer in 2019. God had me then too. Thank you, sounds like you're familiar with that road too. Sister is big into herbal meds. I took a lot of different ones she told me about.
