Not wanting too snipe on similar post... This was in truck bed buy of parts sometime back and never found out what it goes to. Did last week find a reference on here but promptly lost it. It may be for extra weight on scrap pile.

Looks to me like a Brinley hitch for a Cub cadet.

Would it be a wide frame Cub Cadet hitch, not a narrow frame?

AI pulled up a Bolens Tube Frame Hitch that is very similar.  Some pictures of Bolens hitches show a flat cross bar like yours and some show a round rod like in the picture below.  But the rear mounting pin double bar setup is different. 

AI could not match the rear mounting shown in your picture to any hitch and said maybe it was a custom modification.

I believe that's for a Montgomery Ward tractor, I had one years ago and that hitch looks just like it
