Happy Valentine's Day !! Being as such, it seemed like a good day to spray some red paint. The outside temp in the low 50's also made the shop easy to heat.

What the hell it's tradition now! :D I didn't do a damn thing.

Looks like them hood hangers worked purty good.

Thank you for the P clamps ... ended all my misery. I got nice ... well decent ... throttle range without having  to add that little tab.

Some assembly today. No, not on the tractor. I put together the plow that I painted a few weeks ago.

Normally I spread grease on the shiny portions of my plows for storage. This plow I plan to display with the tractor this year so I really don't want do deal with a plow full of grease when I'm handling and transporting it around. So instead of grease I choose to spray the shiny portions with Till-Guard. This paint is designed to protect the polished surface and to scour off when the plow is put back in use. One up front warning -    this stuff really thin and runs very easily. Very thin coats or spray like normal paint and wait for your runs to reach the bottom of the share & let them drip off. :)

Question time - Can anyone tell me if this is actually a :wh: plow?. Reason that I ask is because in the pictures that I find the :wh: plows have a turn buckle to adjust pitch. This one has an L bolt with 2 nuts on the adjuster.

It doesn't look like it. The board is original, but someone built the frame it looks like. I could be wrong

Nice I guess someone isn't gettin that back. Well serves him right he shoulnd't a left it here.

Where is that Brinly stamp? I prolly didn'see it for covered in rust. It was yard art here for a year or three. I think I did use it once and always dug the shape of the share.

Thoughts on spray clear on it instead? For that display shine?

If you want Dan I can clean the coulter up for your display. I really shouldn't be using this one for yard art it's too cool. Only paint I guess.

The one I got from @stevasaurus years ago. Maybe he can shed some light on it. And if it had the decal on it before he restored it.  Looks to be the same plow except for the sharp instead of rounded corner on the back of the share.

There is one on the back of the moldboard, one on the share, and one on the land slide.

The other thing that might suggest it's a :wh: one is the slot hitch? I don't know of any other brands that used one. Maybe Brinly made that just for WH???

On a 401 ...  note the tires... run what ya brung ...
