Only angle plow one direction

Recommended Posts

ANTPER

Hello. Mounted a plow to a Hydro 518. It will only angle with the lever to my right. It wont angle to left as the angle lever hits foot peg without enough room yo travel. What am I missing? Foot pegs longer on 518 on right? This plow is not original to this 518.TIA

Heat and bend control lever to increase distance to foot rest.

The lever is symmetrical so you can turn it around. Would that help?

I have had to bend a couple handles over the years depending on the plow, handle and tractor...

Was considering cutting a small slot end of foot peg for extra arm swing.

I have had to turn some levers around, bend some, and put spacers in some to clear foot rests and foot pedals.

@ANTPER    have to se your set up  , but  plows require  a detailed set up , makes me wonder about your  plow quadrant set up , agree with @Ed Kennell  on possibilities , amazing difference  when set up  correctly  , pete

I do about 90% of my snow plowing to the right, go down, turn around and come back up, repeat, repeat, then turn it back to the mid position to tidy up the turn around area.
