Jean Shepherd was a staple in that household. A Christmas Story will forever remind me of " Crazy Paul" and his family's tremendous hospitality. Years later, I found myself working in Cleveland and had the opportunity to see the house that was used for the outdoor shots. Good memories- will always be a holiday movie favorite . 1

rmaynard 16,701 #8 Posted yesterday at 03:06 AM For me it's a toss-up between ELF, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, Home Alone, A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, and Christmas with the Kranks.

Bar Nuthin 1,854 #10 Posted 19 hours ago I lean towards the classics like It's a Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street. But the other night I re-watched The Christmas Chronicles, with Kurt Russel. I find it very entertaining!

It's a Wonderful Life is a tradition in my family, however there has been much debate over the years as to which is the better version, the original black and white, or the colorized one.

kpinnc 16,261 #13 Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Christmas Vacation somehow ended up being my families favorite. The lubed up "super slide" and the cat chewing the Christmas lights are my favorites.... Sadly, what makes it funny is how much of it is so relatable, regardless of how absurd it is to see it happen to someone else.
