For a period after college,  I lived with a family in the north hills of Pittsburgh.  Jean Shepherd was a staple in that household.  A Christmas Story will forever remind me of " Crazy Paul" and his family's tremendous hospitality.  

 

Years later,  I found myself working in Cleveland and had the opportunity to see the house that was used for the outdoor shots.

 

Good memories- will always be a holiday movie favorite .
