adsm08 3,791 #2 Posted Thursday at 12:31 AM Not according to Reddit, I've never heard of them though. I just buy mine from those amazing fellers down the river.
ebinmaine 75,418 #3 Posted Thursday at 12:35 AM I've bought from simpletire and Wally world. Something I've learned to pay attention to is the freight fee and other "service fees". Be very aware. I usually try to choose the tire I want.. then see who has the best price.

FLtractor 69 #5 Posted Thursday at 01:37 AM (edited) Just found these within a resonable driving distance… would these work with 23x8.50x12? Even if buy them just for the wheels? Seller said: back wheels unusable but rims excellent condition.. are they alone worth $30.00?? And are they what I need? I took Eric’s recommendation and found some Deestone turf tires for $125.00 shipped.. so I’d be about $150.00 in for these used rims and new tires. Which I think is resonable considering my current 856 rears are Orignal Wheelhorse branded tires and Calcium filled wheels haha. Just be aware that the rear tire size is what would be considered slightly smaller on the size scale. 308-8 and similar tractors used those tires. Looks like they will also need inner tubes due to the weather cracking. That will likely be another $40 or more. The front tires will work with any 8 inch front rims on a Wheel Horse, but those wheels will not. They do not have the right hubs for bearings. Personally, I would continue to look for new tires. These are already well torwards being worn out. If they were dirt cheap, they could work for a short while but not worth much at all. JoeM 9,140 #7 Posted Thursday at 09:04 AM Lots of third party sellers these days and most are legit. It is hard to tell what is what and should be using a barrier payment like PayPal. Plus one of the most common mistakes is getting sucked into those 10/15% off deals if you sign up for their ad's. Info is bought and sold like cheap shoes. Spam producers gravy.

I always tell people if you're looking and can't find someone, stop looking. Do the things you enjoy. Either they will show up or they won't and either way you will still be happy. I lucked out. 3

Lots of sellers use Amazon, eBay, and others in addition to their own site. I have ordered things from a seller's website and had the fulfillment through Amazon. The biggest advantage as I see it is the return policy with eBay and Amazon.

And I've had fewer issues buying through Amazon or eBay than other sites. They add an extra layer of protection and accountability on most things. Biggest issue I've ever had with either was a few years ago I had to replace a freeze plug on one of my cars. The location, plus some other things it needed meant pulling the engine was the best route, so I figured I'd just do them all. Ordered freeze plugs from Amazon, price and part number were consistent with a 10-pack, I got one individually wrapped unit. Seller wouldn't respond, called Amazon, they refunded me and told me to just keep the one I was sent. 1
