Barely Able to Lift Snowblower

Tractor: 312-A

Snowblower: 06-42ST05

 

The snowblower blower came with my first 312-A. It wasn't easy, but I could lift it with two hands and not feel like the lever was going to break. I have a second 312-A I just tried attaching the blower to, and I cannot lift it on my own using the lever at all.

The lift rod does not have the spring assist bracket on it. It's part #1986

Lift rod is attached on the highest hole of the bellcrank.

(First 312-A is down for repairs)

 

Any recommendations for a solution appreciated!

The lift flag is probably connected in the wrong hole on the bell crank lever. Connect it in the closest hole to the center.
