953 nut 62,654 #1 Posted 6 hours ago Perpetual Youth Day is celebrated annually on November 30. This day is celebrated to mark the birthday of one of the greatest television presenters and pioneers of rock and roll music — Dick Clark. His show, “American Bandstand,” was on air for over 30 years, becoming the most sought-after show by youth across the country, and the stepping stone for many great artists we have now come to know and love. This American icon paved the way for racially inclusive T.V shows and helped people fall in love with rock ‘n roll. Perpetual Youth Day is celebrated in recognition of Clark’s success and his impact on the youth over the years. 4

Great group with pertinent songs, "Counting Flowers on the Wall, The Class of '57 Had its Dream", and the one I start to listen to but just can't get thru - "I'll go to My Grave Loving You". That hits way too close to home for me.
