953 nut 62,622 #2 Posted 21 hours ago I went up to the top of Mt. Washington on the Cog Train. It was a cloudy day at the bottom but once we got above the clouds it was bright and sunny. 2

My wife's sister was working at the hotel at the time. It was sunny on the base of the MT. Fog and mist on top.

I have no intention of being at the top again. Did the Cog too. The ride was far better than the top. We had the distinct pleasure of having a tour leader who was part Native American and a born n raised local. Her insights were.... unique... to say the least. 1 1

Mt Washington is the only place in the United States east of the Mississippi River that has seen recordable snow in ALL TWELVE calendar months. I've seen the white peak from the valley during the summer. Crazy to see.
Handy Don 14,887 #7 Posted 2 hours ago Hiked up the icy Lion’s Head through sleet and freezing fog cautiously going from cairn to cairn. Icicles in my beard. 25 degrees and 30mph gusts at the top and tourists who drove up were shivering in shorts, tees, and flip flops! What an experience!
