On our older ones I completely replace ALL wiring. On a machine that has all the safety switches and the much more complex wiring harness... no thank you. Original paint will be cleaned and oiled to preserve the ORIGINALITY Its only original once.... True - you really only get one shot at all original. Patina from a can?? I've seen some incredible old car and truck builds that have aftermarket sheet metal mixed in with weather-seasoned OE tin.
