Looks great!  My 77 is not that pretty.  She is a hard worker though.

@ericev0113 :WRS: I think when you have the time look through this site and you’ll find all kinds of manuals information about your tractor. Knowledge is power. Ask a lot of questions if you need to. It looks to be in  really nice shape. just take your time and look at everything. Find your engine, manual transmission, manual, and parts manual. This will give you a good start. Much help here if you need it. And when you can become a supporter of this site and you can post all kinds of pictures as much as you want. Because we are picture lovers.

That is a fine looking :wh:. It has probably been well maintained and will continue to provide you with many more years of service.  :text-coolphotos:

The Wheel Horse transmission has a little hump in the center of its bottom, for complete draining it is best to jack up the front as far as you can.

I recently acquired a use for a garden tractor, and have wanted a Wheel Horse since I was a kid. A little shopping and luck brought this old girl home. Rebuilt the fuel pump to get her running, and she runs great!! I'm sitting here now while the transmission drains so I can give her another 50 years of service 😎

Wow that tractor hardly looks used, someone to good care of it, obviously.   :WRS:  May you have many hours of enjoyment running that tractor!   Just a note, these are herd animals, once you acquire one, they tend to like company :teasing-poke:

Beautiful tractor.   My first Wheel Horse was a C-120 hydro with the Tecumseh HH120 and it served me well.   That was about 50 Wheel Horses ago.

Nice, rear discharge deck also nice, I have a 73 12hp.... 73 was what most call the no name year because they just had the HP designation only and no other model numbers on them but they are almost the same as the c serie, it gets used a lot in the garden and is a real little worker but not near as purdy as yours :D. I do know mine has the brake/clutch on the same pedal were yours has a dedicated clutch and brake pedal.

I don't recall what year they changed. I do encourage anyone to become a supporter of Red Square.

Kinda thinking you should grab a lottery ticket before that luck fades...

Very nice and clean tractor. Not sure if that's original paint or not, but it looks to have been taken care of regardless.
