Posi-Lok set up for Chevy's

From the "What's your other ride?" thread I saw that alot of people have 90's chevy pick-ups. Has anyone put in one of the posi-lok set ups to replace the actuator to engage the front diff? If so how well does it work? I'd like to know if its worth looking into WHEN (doesn't seem to be an if sort of thing) mine goes bad.
