My first car was a 1971 Chrysler 300 with a 440+6, dad made me take my drivers test in a ‘74 Mark IV two big boats. And I failed parallel parking

I failed parallel parking on my first try too. Dad made me take the test in his 93 G20 van.  I failed because I hit a cone with the spare. Went home and measured the van, counting the spare and the ladder the stupid thing was about a foot longer than the spot I was supposed to put it in.

Handy Don

I took my test in a truck, too. Failed after making a left turn from the right lane on a quiet city street. Subtle but important bit of learning I’d not had.

Hard to believe that damage was a total of $14,327, but it’s back looking spiffy as ever:

Mrs. P’s 2018 Suburban had over $14k damage from a doe fawn as well.  Her 1997 Suburban killed a 9 point and cracked the front license plate holder!

I've hit multiple deer with trains over the years.  It can cause a surprising amount of damage, and in some cases disable the train.  I hate hitting anything,  but I  figure I'm saving someone from hitting a deer with their car or motorcycle.
