moving shingle squares

just got a  batch of shingles for  , re  topping shed roofs , found best way  to move bulk  weight , 1st gear  low range , easily turns heavy bulk weight  into a  slow sliding , set up , using  plow blade , on grass slide point  , did not even  tear  up any  grass areas . that blade width , was the answer to  total control of bulk weight . always experimenting  with an improvement  to a problem , no clutch  issues , it all moved easily , pete

I'm right there with you.         :confusion-shrug:          Seems to me they are making shingles (and everything else) heavier than they were 30 years ago. When I was 50 I could put a bundle of shingles on my shoulder and climb up a ladder with no problem, by the time I was 60 the shingles were heavier  and I could only do a half bundle at a time.    :angry-tappingfoot:   now they make them so heavy I can only lift a couple at a time  ,  ,  ,  ,  and as for a ladder , , , ,   image.png.fa897373a791a2a7e72b7741000b6a97.png

@8ntruck   been at this house 45 years  , was a regular  thing to be involved in every  aspect of it , the real thing  that gets me is that  the related pricing  , makes you  shop around  , found a guy  that was in building maintenance , branched out on his own , and has been  very / satisfying  , to do a number of things . he is always busy  , and will  also give you a heads up  on  opportunity , or recommend / suggest  , alternative . you have to realise , you are not , mid life any more .  pete

:angry-tappingfoot:                   Are you telling me I won't live to be 160?              Guess I had figured that out myself.         :ychain:
