peter lena 9,358 #1 Posted Friday at 01:22 PM just got a batch of shingles for , re topping shed roofs , found best way to move bulk weight , 1st gear low range , easily turns heavy bulk weight into a slow sliding , set up , using plow blade , on grass slide point , did not even tear up any grass areas . that blade width , was the answer to total control of bulk weight . always experimenting with an improvement to a problem , no clutch issues , it all moved easily , pete

Seems to me they are making shingles (and everything else) heavier than they were 30 years ago. When I was 50 I could put a bundle of shingles on my shoulder and climb up a ladder with no problem, by the time I was 60 the shingles were heavier and I could only do a half bundle at a time. now they make them so heavy I can only lift a couple at a time , , , , and as for a ladder , , , , 2
